The RAM Digital Open Innovation program, initiated by Royal Air Maroc in partnership with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, aims to foster innovation within the airline industry by collaborating with startups, students, researchers, and the broader international research and innovation community. The program includes various stages, such as a roadshow for networking and presentations, a development phase for selected projects, and finally, an acceleration phase for implementing proofs of concept.
Three hundred startups from over 40 countries applied for consideration, 18 startups were selected for a week in Marrakesh, Morocco to participate in the final challenge. In the intense bootcamp week, Globaleur worked closely with RAM's e-commerce and partnership team to tackle and improve the passenger confidence after COVID. Globaleur's innovative digital solution not only provides RAM's a full new digital transformation, but also brings ancillary revenue and data insights. Bringing Moroccan travel destinations and things to do to more travelers globally, Globaleur's AI-driven travel planning solution got stand out among all competitive solutions, and won the first place in the Digital Open Innovation 2022.
